Motocross Racing | The Great Escape

Join us this fall for the thrilling inaugural ALL FOR CHARITY motocross race, set against the backdrop of 71 acres of pristine rolling farmland. The Great Escape Motocross Grand Prix is here to take you back in time to the golden days of motocross when gas was less than a buck, the sport was defined by its purity—and tracks covered in grass!

On Saturday, we invite you to come out and witness a special treat as we showcase our old school vintage bikes. These iconic machines will be the first to put their tires on the all-grass track for the very first time EVER! For those who are eager to join in on the grassy excitement, we will also have modern classes available, ensuring that everyone can experience the fun of riding on this unique surface.

Then, on Sunday, get ready for an adrenaline-fueled day as we tear up the dirt and unleash you modern riders on what promises to be an epic track. This course will twist and turn through the breathtaking landscape, navigating the ups and downs of this beautiful piece of Georgia farmland, offering a thrilling challenge for competitors of all levels.

But that's not all—Saturday night will boast a vibrant atmosphere with live music to keep the energy high. We also have college football in store, so you won't have to miss a moment of excitement as UGA takes on Texas! Come join us for an unforgettable weekend of motocross, music, and more, all in support of a great cause!

Ladies and Gentlemen, you asked for it and now it's here! SEVMX is joining The Great Escape - an all Grass Track - AMA Sanctioned Grand Prix Motocross event featuring SEVMX classes, including the 40 plus 125 shootout. Don’t miss the Open Age 125 class and the 2024 finale of the Winners Take Y’all 2x4 series, which is open to all air-cooled 4-strokes 299 cc and under. Join us in Buchanon, Georgia, on October 19th for vintage racing. The festival kicks off on Friday, October 18th, and concludes on Sunday the 20th with modern classes. The SEVMX classes and series will race on Saturday!

For one weekend only, we will be invading a sprawling 71-acre piece of property in a heartfelt effort to raise much-needed funding for a dear friend of the Kelly family who is bravely battling ALS. This courageous individual faces significant challenges, especially with three young children at home, and they can truly use all the support we can provide during this difficult time. Our goal is to come together as a moto community to lend a helping hand and show that we care, while also enjoying a memorable weekend filled with activities and camaraderie. Every contribution counts and will make a meaningful impact on their lives!

October 18th -

*Gates open at 5pm for parking and camping.

*Early on-site registration from 6pm to 8pm.

October 19th -

*Vintage motocross racing as well as some modern bike support classes.

*Signup at 7am, riders meeting at 8:30 am. Practice immediately following riders meeting.

*Racing at 10am to approximately 5pm

*At approximately 5pm - Team Race (60 minutes) then Fireball 400 Mini Moto immediately after at approximately 6 pm (60 minutes).

*Early registration for Sunday 2pm-4pm

*7pm Georgia vs Texas on the big screen at the Fasthouse party barn.

*8pm Live music at the Fasthouse party barn.

October 20th -

*Modern motocross registration 7am.

*Riders meeting 8:30am, practice immediately following riders meeting.

*Racing at 10am.
